GRAND RAPIDS — Atlanta-based staffing firm Insight Global plans to become a tenant in the mixed-use Arena Place project when the facility opens later this year.

The provider of staffing solutions will move into a 7,500-square-foot space in the building once it opens in the coming months, according to a statement.

“We are always excited when new companies want to enter the greater Grand Rapids market and be part of our economic growth,” said David Wiener, principal in the Grand Rapids office of Colliers International, who brokered the deal along with Jodi Selvey representing Insight Global in Atlanta, according to a statement. “Insight Global has a young workforce and what we find time and time again is that young professionals want to be where they can live, work and play – and Arena Place offers all of that in one location.”

The company will join law firm Miller, Johnson, Snell & Cummiskey PLC, restaurant operators Meritage Hospitality Group Inc. and advertising and branding firm Hanon McKendry Inc.

The Arena Place project will feature ground-floor retail, 100 market-rate apartments and an on-site parking deck. The building is being developed and constructed by Grand Rapids-based Orion Construction Inc.

“Mixed-use is increasingly popular because it brings together people, their lifestyle goals and tremendous economic opportunities all under one roof,” said Roger Rehkopf, President of Orion Construction, in a statement. “From a construction standpoint, mixed-use buildings like Arena Place strengthen downtowns and Grand Rapids is proof that they can attract businesses, talent and consumers.”
