Quality Precast to expand with new HQ in Kalamazoo County

KALAMAZOO — A manufacturer of manholes and retaining walls plans to move its headquarters and expand in Southwest Michigan.

Quality Precast Inc. expects to build a new 25,000-square-foot production and headquarters facility in Kalamazoo County’s Alamo Township, according to a statement from Southwest Michigan First.

The company, currently based in Kalamazoo, is expected to add 20 jobs with the $1.34 million expansion.

The Kalamazoo County Brownfield Authority provided a $3,000 grant toward an environmental site assessment, while the township approved a 12-year tax abatement for the company.

All production at the company will be conducted in the facility, according to a statement.
