Retailer Meijer Inc. has opened two new 192,000-square foot superstores.
The Walker-based chain opened stores this week in Sturgis in southern Michigan and in Sussex, Wisc., northwest of Milwaukee, according to statements.
Both stores were built to LEED standards and will be open 24 hours.
The new locations make up part of Meijer’s planned $400 million investment in new or remodeled stores. The Sussex store becomes the fifth store Meijer has opened in Wisconsin.
