GRAND RAPIDS — Chervon North America will move its headquarters from downtown Grand Rapids to Naperville, Ill., a suburb outside of Chicago.
A manufacturer of a variety of power tools and lawn equipment, Chervon plans to consolidate upwards of 75 workers from its current office in Grand Rapids and other offices in suburban Chicago to the new location, according to reports.
Joe Turoff, chief marketing officer of Chervon North America, told the Chicago Tribune that “considering the location of our current employees, Naperville seemed like the perfect city.”
Chervon’s current North American headquarters is located at 120 Ionia Ave SW in Grand Rapids.
It remains unclear when the transition to the Naperville facility will occur.
The company runs the North American operations of Nanjing, China-based Chervon Holdings Chervon’s portfolio of brands include Skil, EGO and Hammerhead tools.
Attempts to reach a Chervon spokesperson for comment were not successful as this report went to press.
