SPRING LAKE – The HÅG Futu® task chair has earned the 2010 Green GOOD DESIGN Award™ for its outstanding environmental design and low carbon footprint, the fourth product design earned by this remarkably elegant, compact chair comprised of only seven different materials.
HÅG Futu also has earned the Red Dot Award, as well as the Award for Design Excellence and Environmental Award from the Norwegian Design Council. GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified®, HÅG Futu was one of three HÅG chairs used by delegates at the 15th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP15) in 2009, held in Copenhagen.
HÅG's core values and functionality are expressed in steely elegance with HÅG Futu. Following the classic Scandinavian design philosophy, HÅG Futu offers full task-chair functionality and adjustability in an extremely slender package. It was extensively tested and designed for one-size seating and operational ease, and is 96 percent recyclable. HÅG Futu® task chair was designed by Leif Isachsen / Kobe Design of Oslo, Norway, and is manufactured by HAG AS, part of Scandinavian Business Seating. In North America, HÅG Futu is available through www.izzyplus.com.
