People Technology MiBiz adds Brennan as Senior Writer-Technology

MiBiz today announced that veteran tech and business journalist Mike Brennan will begin working with the paper as a Senior Writer-Technology in January 2012.
Brennan, who owns and publishes the statewide digital media platform MiTechNews.com, will cover the West Michigan technology beat for MiBiz, including software, security, telecommunications and other aspects of the region's tech business.
MiBiz will also be sharing content from MiTechNews.com in both the print and online versions of MiBiz.
Brennan, 59, has worked since 1980 as a technology reporter at newspapers in New York City, Silicon Valley, Seattle, Memphis and Detroit. He launched MiTechNews.com in 2000 and reaches readers statewide through his site. He also co-founded and served as managing editor of Pacific Rim News Service, which developed a network of more than 100 journalists in 17 countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
