
HOLLAND – LeanLogistics, a global leader in innovative SaaS transportation technology and supply chain services, announced that Christopher Timmer was named the “2010 TMCA Transportation Marketing Executive of the Year.” The award recognizes a senior marketing leader who has demonstrated quality, results-oriented talent within the transportation industry. This honor was presented last evening, at a special awards gala at TMCA’s Annual Conference in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, where LeanLogistics also received their Compass Award for the 2009 “I Lean” Integrated Marketing Campaign. Chris Timmer is Senior Vice President of Business Development and Marketing and is responsible for overall strategy, positioning and expansion of the LeanLogistics solutions, including internationalization and SaaS platform development. Timmer has over 20 years of experience in transportation and logistics management and has led the scaling of the LeanLogistics SaaS transportation network through the innovation and market adoption of On-Demand TMS®, to the launch of new offerings including LeanLogistics innovative GreenLanes™ fractional dedicated freight program and the revolutionary do-it-yourself LeanSource Procurement App. Timmer has expertise in transportation management, on-demand technologies, and the issues and challenges facing companies dealing with inbound and outbound logistics, outsourced logistics services, and freight payment and audit. He can speak to visibility into supply chain operations, business intelligence for continuous improvement programs, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, collaboration and network advantage, and enhancing carrier performance and relationships.
