DETROIT, MI (4 January 2012) – The law firm of Miller Canfield announces that Amber J. Sturrus has joined the firm as an associate in the Financial Institutions and Transactions Group in the Grand Rapids, Mich. office.
Sturrus' practice focuses on financial institutions and transactions and includes the preparation and negotiation of commercial lending agreements. Her real estate financing experience includes representing borrowers and lenders in mortgage financing, tax structured transactions, commercial mortgage backed securities, participations and debtor-in-possession and exit financing for Chapter 11 debtors.
She is licensed to practice in Illinois.
She received her J.D. from the University of Illinois Law School and her B.A. from Calvin College.
She resides in Ada, Mich.
