After Kurt’s retirement from City Manager of Grand Rapids in 2009, he joined Pondera Advisors as an
associate. Now he will take a formal leadership role in Pondera Advisors as Managing Partner.  Kurt's executive experience in a complex multifaceted municipal corporation provides our clients with access to a broad depth of knowledge. He offers extensive experience in strategic planning, organizational  development, managing public-private partnerships, complex financial management and budgeting, building highly effective teams, leadership coaching, and mentoring. Kurt is an accomplished executive with vast experience in working with a diverse group of stakeholders including mayors, city commissioners, federal, state, and local legislators and professional administrators, as well as countless private sector and non-profit leaders.
