Patrick Colunga, CPA, is a tax professional who focuses his practice primarily on family-owned businesses in manufacturing, distribution, agriculture and the service industries. Prior to joining Plante Moran, he served as a senior associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Colunga is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He received his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Michigan State University in accounting. A native of North Muskegon, he now resides in Ravenna with his wife, Adri, and their daughter.
Chad Soukup, CPA, CFP, is a senior financial planner with Plante Moran Financial Advisors who provides wealth management services, including investment consulting, trust services, estate and income tax planning, and insurance consulting services to high-net-worth individuals and their families. Soukup is a member of AICPA and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Grand Valley State University. A native of Chesaning, he now resides in Grand Rapids with his wife, Sara, and their son.
Katie Yang, CPA, is an assurance associate who concentrates her practice in educational institutions and insurance entities. She is a member of the AICPA, MACPA and the Insurance Accounting & Systems Association. She holds a bachelor of business administration degree and a master of science degree, both in accounting, from GVSU. A native of Kentwood, she now resides in Grand Rapids with her husband, Ju.
