GRAND RAPIDS - Integrated Architecture’s newest interior designer, Andrea Nemes, spent the past six years working in Chicago for Ideation Studio, a boutique multidisciplinary design studio whose clients included Oprah, Acura and a variety of entrepreneurs seeking a branded environment. Nemes’ Chicago projects range from boutique retails stores to automotive dealerships to intimate dining venues. Since joining IA Nemes has turned her talents to crafting sustainable healthcare and corporate environments that support healing and collaboration. While the project types differ, Andrea sees a strong parallel in the work as her efforts remain centered on meeting each client’s unique needs.
“Andrea’s focused approach complements both our award-winning design team and our sustainable efforts,” said Paul Dickinson, AIA, Integrated Architecture President. “In addition to her retail expertise, Andrea brings robust experience in creating branded environments – something that is an added benefit to all of our clients.”
“Creating a branded environment is more than just adding signs and logos,” Andrea explains. “It entails creating a cohesive package that communicates the corporate identity with every customer / client interaction.”
A Boyne City native, Andrea spent a year ski racing and training in Vail, Colorado before beginning her college studies at Western Michigan University. Even though it’s been a decade since training, Andrea’s commitment, concentration and competitive attitude that served her well on the slopes forms a solid foundation for her corporate efforts as she works hard to achieve each client’s identified goals. “Go fast, have fun, do your best and things will work out pretty well,” she explains.
