LANSING/GRAND RAPIDS — C2AE, a full-service architectural, engineering, and planning design firm is pleased to announce the recent hire of Melanie Joyner, PHR.
Melanie Joyner, a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) was hired as Human Resources Director. Melanie brings over 11 years of experience performing and managing human resource functions, including classification and compensation, benefit administration, recruitment and retention, performance management, and training & development. She has worked in a variety of work environments, including higher education and the public sector.
Her background includes most recently working with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as the Director of Academic Personnel, where she was responsible for the oversight and delivery of human resources services for approximately 3500 faculty employees. Prior to that, she worked with the Virginia Department of Transportation, Ikon Office Solutions, and Carol Wood Healthcare Facility.
Melanie earned her Masters of Science Degree in Human Resources from Western Carolina University in North Carolina, where she was involved in several organizations and participated in a variety of community support and human resource committees.
