MICHIGAN — The American Council of Engineering Companies of Michigan (ACEC/M) has announced Kirk Branson, PE, of Parsons Brinckerhoff-Michigan (Lansing) as its 2011-2012 President.

Kirk received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University, and his M.S. in Management from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids.  After 33 years of service, he retired from the State of Michigan and began his second career at Parsons Brinckerhoff in 2005 as their Project Manager for QA/QC Oversight.

Kirk has been active in ACEC/Michigan and has served on several committees before being elected to the Board of Directors in July 2006. Kirk is proudly married to his high school sweetheart, April, and has 3 children and 8 grandchildren.
