Shayne Malone joins Colliers International | West Michigan

GRAND RAPIDS — Shayne Malone has joined Colliers International | West Michigan as an associate investment advisor.
Malone brings more than a decade of investment real estate strategy and experience to Colliers, including extensive project experience in Latin America. A Leadership in Energy and Environmental Accredited Professional, or LEED-AP, Malone specializes in cash flow properties, historic structures, net lease stabilization and green buildings. In his new role, he will be responsible for assisting investors in their search for cash-flow properties, with a particular emphasis on multi-family apartment buildings. His knowledge of the downtown apartment market provides investors and developers with on-the-ground insight that can assist in locating and evaluating potential projects.
Prior to joining Colliers, Malone has owned, managed or worked for several large real estate development and investment services, including Hampton Properties and Malone Management Co., both of Grand Rapids, CR One Development of Costa Rica and Salzburg Development of Panama. Malone is fluent in Spanish.
Malone is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council. He holds a bachelor of business administration from Marquette University in Milwaukee. He and his wife, Larissa, reside in Grand Rapids.
