Kalamazoo, Mich. - Greenleaf Hospitality Group would like to announce the promotion of Katie Filter to senior sales manager. Filter will take on the state association convention market to build the foundation of group rooms business at the Radisson Plaza Hotel & Suites.
Filter has been with Greenleaf Hospitality since 2009. In her role as a sales manager, she has demonstrated strong leadership abilities and have exceeded in building trusting relationships with her clients.
“We are pleased and honored that Katie will be applying her talent as a proven leader in this important role and I look forward to their continued success,” said John Janco, director of sales.
Filter has more than 10 years of experience in sales and a graduate of Grand Valley State University. She is a member of Meeting Professionals International - Chicago Chapter and also the Society of Government Meeting Planners.
“I am excited about this opportunity as part of Greenleaf Hospitality Group’s effort to grow the association business,” Filter said. “I will continue to build existing relationships that we currently have as well as establishing new partnerships to position Greenleaf Hospitality as the premier location for state associations.”
