GRAND RAPIDS — Amy Jo Feliciano, Central Station Manager of Grand-Rapids-based Engineered Protection Systems, Inc. (EPS Security), has been named Central Station Manager of the Year by the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA), the security industry's largest trade organization.
Feliciano has managed EPS Security's Central Station operations for nearly 13 years and has 17 years of total service at the Company. The CSAA awards program is often referred to as the "Oscars" of the security industry; Feliciano was chosen as top central station manager for 2010 out of a field that included 48 of the nation's largest security companies.
"I can't imagine anyone more deserving of recognition in our industry than Amy Jo Feliciano," said Kevin Carlson, president of EPS Security and second-generation leader of the family-owned business. "Think about the degree in which technology has changed during the past decade. Over that time, Amy Jo has led EPS' efforts to provide our customers with the most up-to-date technology and the best security and life-safety monitoring in the market. I applaud the dedication she shows our customers and her staff."
"To be recognized by CSAA is a great honor," said Feliciano. "I don't feel it's a personal award. It's really a recognition of my dedicated team of operators. We're all gunning for the Central Station of the Year award in 2012!"
