Maryam Komejan
has 25 years of international executive management experience.
She played a leadership role in helping to create a corporate
culture which was cited as one of the Top 10 Companies
to Work for in America and she has been named as one
of the Most Influential Women of West Michigan. She has
worked in small and large privately held companies and
in public companies in the United States, Europe, and
Asia.
She provides
management guidance for companies with major change initiatives
such as acquisition and business integration, succession
planning, change management, and strategic planning.
Ms. Komejan has extensive experience in labor relations
and building positive, problem-solving corporate cultures.
She has worked in and chaired a dispute resolution/policy-making
body within a corporate environment for over a decade,
has worked with unions and labor councils outside of
the United States, and has also been involved in dispute
resolution activities between disparate organizations.
Maryam Komejan has management experience in various business sectors including
manufacturing, financial services, government, and education. Her functional
expertise includes Human Resources, Information Technology, Facilities Management,
Media and Communications, Public Relations, Investor Relations, Corporate Governance
and Legal, Risk and Loss Prevention, Safety, and Environmental Health. She
has experience with various business systems, including lean production systems
and Six Sigma.
Ms. Komejan currently serves as Board Chair for a municipal utility, and as
a Board member for a Public Access Television station and a regional chapter
of the United Way. She also serves on various governmental committees and has
been a guest lecturer at various universities. She has extensive multinational
and multicultural experience, is bi-lingual, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree
in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Management.
