ANN ARBOR — Educators from the Samuel Zell and Robert H. Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and at the Michigan State University’s Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Broad College of Business have joined forces in forming the Michigan Entrepreneurship Education Leaders Forum.
The forum’s goal is to find ways the schools can collaborate, improve their programs and foster an entrepreneurial culture among students. The inaugural Michigan Entrepreneurship Education Leaders meeting in December focused on how educational programs can effectively help students learn entrepreneurial skills. According to a statement from the planners, the first program included representatives from U-M and MSU, as well as Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Grand Valley, Wayne State and Western Michigan universities.
