LANSING - Bruce Thomas, interim president and CEO of Michigan Commerce Bank announced that Michigan Commerce Bank has established a goal to collect at least 1,000 cell phones for soldiers by this coming Fourth of July.
Thomas said Michigan Commerce Bank is collecting the cell phones in conjunction with the Cell Phones for Soldiers national program whose mission is to “help our troops call home.”
Bank customers and all local residents are invited to drop off their old cell phones at any of Michigan Commerce Bank’s full-service offices. The bank has offices in Ann Arbor, Auburn Hills, Brighton, downtown Detroit, Farmington Hills, Grand Haven, Grand Rapids, Holland, Muskegon and Portage.
