over 20 years of investment experience, John is a Principal
and Portfolio Manager responsible for managing investment
accounts and assisting clients in determining investment
objectives.
Before founding Front Street Investment Management, John
was a co-owner and principal at AMBS Investment Counsel,
LLC , a Grand Rapids, Michigan investment
advisory firm managing over $400 million. Prior to joining AMBS, John was a
Senior Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager for Barnett Banks Trust Company
in Florida. He was also an investment analyst and fixed income portfolio manager
for the trust department of First of America Bank in Kalamazoo. His background
also includes corporate lending at Old Kent Bank & Trust Company as well
as marketing and financial analysis at Burroughs Corporation.
