Jeffrey Meyer is currently serving as the Executive Director of the Van Andel Global Trade Center located at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI. This center serves as the central clearinghouse for international trade training, consulting, and resources for the Michigan business community. In addition, he serves as the Director of the Kent-Ottawa-Muskegon Foreign Trade Zone #189. Meyer has extensive experience in business planning and market entry strategy development with small and medium corporations both in the U.S. and abroad. He has spent the last four years working with Michigan auto suppliers, food processors, and light industrial manufacturers developing business overseas, creating market entry strategies, and developing import/export transaction processes. Meyer received his BS in Economics from Bowling Green State University (91’) and an MBA in International Business and Marketing from Wright State University (95’).
