Susan
W. Meston is the Superintendent for the Muskegon Area
Intermediate School District (MAISD), an educational
service agency. With many years working in the field
of education, Susan has served as a teacher, principal
and assistant superintendent. She received her doctoral
degree from Michigan State University with a major
in Educational Administration and cognate in Organizational
Behavior. She is currently a member of the WIRED West
Michigan Policy Council and recently became a Commissioner
for the Michigan Community Service Commission, representing
the State Superintendent of Public Instruction. For
five years Susan represented Michigan on the National
Forum on Educational Statistics. During that time she
co-author a guide on student privacy rights and a publication
on student safety data collection. |
